My guitar

This is my little guitar... Nothing special, nothing fancy, just a cheap secondhand guitar to get me started. Haven't been playing the guitar for too long, so buying cheap stuff is the way to go at first. Of course I'll buy some descent equipment once my skills get going a bit more than they are today, but this will do the job just fine for the time being. I had to do a bit of restoring when I bought this guitar, put new strings on and now it works like a charm. This guitar, according to the previous owner, is about 10, 11 years old now, so at such an age they do tend to need some attention. The brand is Gerrinez, which is not very well known... This brand used to be imported by just one shop in this country to my knowledge (in The Hague). They were imported from Japan. The elements are nice old soapbars, which aren't specificly desgined for metal, and perhaps I'll replace them someday with humbuckers... But the sound isn't bad at all...

The amp:

This amp came with the guitar, but I don't know whether it used to be sold as a package or not. It's a Sound City sc10b and produces a mindblowing 20Watts... Ok, so it's not too fancy... It will be replaced in due time of course, so I can make more noise...

The distortion modeller

After I bought my guitar I needed something to make my guitar sound a bit more brute of course, so I bought this secondhand distortion modeller... It's a Line6 DM4 and I love it... 4 presets as you can see and loads of different types of distortions an effects available to toy around with... Absolute must, I'd say... Sure beats buying 10 different stompboxes with single effects...
